Due to the rapid development of DTF technology, many people will encounter some difficulties in the DTF heat transfer process, such as oil return and air bubbles in transferred patterns. The main reasons for this kind of situation are as follows:

 

1. DTF consumables

The quality and matching of DTF consumables have a considerable impact on the quality of the finished heat transfer pattern. The DTF consumables mainly include: PET film, DTF ink and DTF powder. Especially the matching between white ink and PET film has a great impact the quality of the finished pattern.

In addition, we should pay attention to the storage conditions of PET film and DTF powder. Since they absorb water easily, they should not get damp. They should be placed in a ventilated and dry place, and the unused parts should be sealed in packaging bags.

In addition, try to use up the ink within 7-14 days after opening.

 

2. Ambient humidity

Always pay attention to the humidity of the printer's working environment. In a humid working environment, if the PET film gets damp, the ink droplets will not be evenly spread on the PET film. After the pattern is dried, the occurrence of oil return and bubbles will be greatly increased.

 

3. Drying length and preheating part of powder shaking machine

Purchase a matching powder shaker according to the running speed of the DTF printer.

If the printer speed is too fast and the drying length of the powder shaker is insufficient, it will lead to insufficient drying time, resulting in oil reversion, and even the powder may not be completely dried.

If dried for a long time, the PET film may be burned. Bubbles will appear.

In order to match the printing speed of the I3200 print head, we have a variety of toner shakers with multi-stage drying areas, divided into preheating, low temperature and high temperature areas. Greatly reduced oil return and air bubbles.

 

4. Smoke purifier

In order to prevent the inside of the powder shaker from working for a long time to dry the powder, causing oil and water to accumulate inside the powder shaker. It is recommended to equip a smoke purifier to ensure the drying area of the powder shaker is dry.
