Friends who know UV printers know that the nozzle is an important core component. Since the nozzle has a certain service life, it is also a kind of UV printer consumable. Rational and correct daily use of the nozzle can prolong the service life of the nozzle, obtain better printing effect and reduce the cost. Then, what aspects should be paid attention to when using the print head, let’s see what the Udefine technician says one by one.
1. Do not install or disassemble the nozzle while it is powered on.
Install and remove the circuit of the digital printer at will without turning off the power switch and cutting off the main power supply. This behavior can damage the service life of various systems, especially the nozzles of UV printers.
2. Do not leave the cleaning solution in the nozzle for too long.
Soaking the nozzle in the cleaning solution for a long time can remove stains more effectively, but if the soaking time exceeds 48 hours, it may cause corrosion on the nozzle hole of the nozzle.
3. Must be cleaned before changing the ink.
Even for the same kind of ink, inks produced by different manufacturers contain different components. If the ink is changed directly without cleaning, more particles may be generated and the nozzle will be blocked. Therefore, before changing the ink, the ink path and the nozzle must be thoroughly inspected clean.
4. It is not allowed to use ink and cleaning fluid of substandard quality.
Unqualified ink will affect the inkjet printing effect and block the nozzle, and unqualified cleaning solution may also corrode the nozzle. Do not choose cheap and unqualified ink and cleaning fluid because of small losses. It is best to choose the equipment manufacturer’s designated ink, otherwise, the equipment manufacturer may not guarantee the equipment.
5. It is not recommended to vigorously clean the nozzle with a high-pressure air gun.
Cleaning the nozzle is a delicate job, you can't directly flush the nozzle with a high-pressure air gun. If the nozzle is only slightly blocked, you can use a needle to gently flush it, and you can also add an appropriate amount of cleaning solution to the needle to clean the nozzle.
6. Do not use self-provided cleaning products without quality inspection to clean the nozzle.
The nozzle is very easy to be polluted and worn. If the quality of the cleaning tools is not up to standard or it is not clean at all, it may cause secondary pollution to the nozzle. Before cleaning the nozzle, be sure to ensure the reliability of the cleaning product.
7. Pay attention to protecting circuit boards and other internal systems.
Turn off the power when cleaning, and be careful not to let the water touch the circuit boards and other internal systems.
8. Avoid using external force to adjust the position of the nozzle irregularly.
Whether it is replacing or fine-tuning the nozzle, do not use brute force, please handle the nozzle carefully according to the specification.
9. Pay attention to electrostatic protection.
UV printer printing is greatly affected by static electricity, so you can’t directly touch the nozzle with your hands. Wear protective gloves when maintaining the nozzle. You must also check the connection of the ground wire frequently, and sprinkle a little salt water around the ground wire regularly.
10. Do not use ultrasonic cleaning to clean the nozzle for a long time.
Ultrasonic waves will have adverse effects on the nozzle. Unless the nozzle is seriously blocked, ultrasonic cleaning can be used, and the cleaning time should not exceed 3 minutes at most. If the first cleaning is not in place, wait for the nozzle to cool down to a normal state before cleaning.
